MONA MARIE (MAGAN) ESTEP

Mona Marie Estep, 74, of Guernsey, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the home of Donald and Mona Estep, 765 South Indiana Avenue in Guernsey. Family and friends are welcome throughout the day to celebrate Mona’s life, share memories, and tell stories.

Mona was born on May 28, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Edward and Dorothy K. (Brennan) Magan. She was the oldest of four children: Mona, John, Edward, and Beverly. She graduated from Arvada High School in 1976.

Mona dedicated 30 years of service to King Soopers, where she worked as a meat cutter and meat processing supervisor before retiring.

In 2019, Mona and her husband, Donald, moved from Colorado to Guernsey to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren. Family meant everything to Mona, and she treasured the time spent together, especially her beloved Sunday family dinners. Mona lovingly cared for her dogs and grand-dogs, cherishing the time she spent with them while everyone was at work.

Mona enjoyed traveling and cruising, camping, boating at the lake, bird watching, and spending time outdoors. She was also a devoted fan of Colorado sports teams and rarely missed following her favorites.

Mona will be remembered for her love of family, her generous spirit, and the many memories she created with those she loved.

Mona is survived by her husband, Donald Estep of Guernsey; daughter, Heather (Derek) Chavez; grandchildren, Jordan Sasso, Jaylyn Chavez, and Elijah Chavez; siblings, Edward Magan, and Beverly Peters.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Magan.
