PATRICIA "PAT" MAE (DAVIS) ALLENDER

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Patricia Mae Allender, 75, at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel, 1147 Cheyenne Street, Douglas, Wyoming with Phil Romero as the officiant and Bill Davis as the eulogist.  

Surrounded by her loving family, Patricia Mae (Davis) Allender, known to most as Pat, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

She was born on Monday, February 2, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Gladys (Moreland) and Wyman Davis and was raised in a large, close-knit family by her mother and older siblings.

Pat graduated from Tech High School in Omaha in 1966, where she crossed paths with the love of her life, James Joseph Allender. They exchanged vows in 1967, embarking on a journey of love and companionship that spanned over 55 years. Together, they welcomed three children into their lives: James Jr., Jennifer, and Teresa. Jim's career in the railroad industry led them to various cities across the Midwest, but they eventually found their forever home in Douglas, Wyoming, where they spent nearly 40 wonderful years together.

Pat's true happiness was found in the embrace of her family and in the unwavering support she provided to her beloved grandchildren. She will be remembered for her spirited personality, quick-witted humor, and the enduring love she held for her family and friends.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Jim and her devoted children, James (Teir) Allender, Jennifer (Calvin) Allender, and Teresa (Kyle) Boe. She leaves behind her cherished sisters, Janet, JoAnn, Linda, and Marilyn and her brothers, Bill, Buddy, and Gary, along with numerous other beloved family members. Her legacy lives on through her adoring grandchildren, Carrie (Kenny) Knowski, Chelsea Rex, Kelsey (Josh) Kluka, Caitlin (Baylee) Parks, Baylee Allender, Griffen Boe, Jaylynn Boe, and Joey Allender, and a joyful great-grandchild, Selah Kluka.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Davis; and her sister, Joyce Rhoades.

In memory of Pat Allender's caring and loving nature, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Converse County Hospital Foundation-Stella Beard Infusion Center, P.O. Box 393, Douglas, Wyoming 82633.

Pat's laughter, love, and the warmth of her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she find eternal peace and continue to watch over her beloved family from above.
