Obituary

Patti Lynn Shelden, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Monday, May 11 ,2020 surround by family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born Saturday, October 11, 1958 in Cut Bank, Montana the fourth daughter of Lavonne (Sisson) Ungar and the late Nicholas Ungar. She graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1976. In 1982, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she met Buck Shelden. They married on February 5, 1989. With this marriage, she gained two step daughters who loved and cherished her as their second mom. In September 1993, she gave birth to Cody Shelden. She worked for Steven Chanen for 34 years as the Executive Assistant to President and CEO. 

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Buck; son, Cody of Phoenix, Arizona; step daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Robinson of Casper, Wyoming and Heather (Shane) Powell of Casper, Wyoming; grandchildren, Gavin, Kailee Robinson, CJ and Hank Powell; her mother, Lavonne, of Sheridan, Wyoming; three sisters, Charlotte (Bob) of Sheridan, Wyoming, Christine (Dennis) Howell of Cut Bank, Montana and Nikki Ratcliff of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Douglas Park Cemetery located at 9th and Ash streets in Douglas, Wyoming with reception to follow at Washington Park Kentucky Derby Shelter. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
