PETER ALVARO "PETE" EICKBUSH

A funeral service for Peter Alvaro “Pete” Eickbush, 34, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at the Chugwater Cemetery Church with Cole Larson and Orlinda Williams officiating.

Peter Eickbush passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 11, 2021, in Chugwater, Wyoming.

Pete was born Sunday, October 12, 1986 in Bogota, Columbia and was adopted at the age of two to John and Dora Eickbush. He graduated from Chugwater High School in 2007. Pete enjoyed ranch work, mowing, hunting, mechanic work, and welding. Pete was a lovely son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and brother in Christ.

Pete made his choice to serve the Lord ten years ago and remained true to his calling until his final day. Pete loved being in meeting and being with his friends and family. He always had a smile and was eager to talk and share stories. He was helpful to those around him. Pete never let his disabilities slow him down. He left nobody any excuse not to serve God, or take part. God always gave him a part. His family will forever be grateful for the loving, compassionate care that all our neighbors and family have given Pete.

He is survived by his father John William Eickbush Jr. of Chugwater; sisters, Lorraine (Rob) Lovato of Ventura, California, Sharleen (Paul) Johnson of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Naomi (Cody) Loomis of Alliance, Nebraska, and Joanna (Mike) Lulf of Kimball, Nebraska; nieces, Jaclyn (Johnny) Theodore, Dora Lulf, Rachel Johnson, and Reata Loomis; nephews, Aaron Lovato, Cade Loomis, Kason Loomis, Ryder Loomis, and Noah Lulf; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Eickbush and his brother, Gerald Eickbush.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Peter Eickbush Memorial Fund, for a donation in his name to his high school special needs program, at any Platte Valley Bank branch.
