Patricia "Patty" Robin (Love) Detimore

Funeral services for Patricia Robin “Patty” Detimore, 65, will be held at 11:00 AM. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 601 South Ninth Street, Douglas, Wyoming with Reverend Jonathan Durkopp officiating.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Douglas Moose Lodge #602, 120 North Second Street, Douglas, Wyoming.

Patty died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas.

She was born Tuesday, October 7, 1958 in Moab, Utah the daughter of Loren Leanard “John” and Lulu G. “Tillie” (Hunter) Love. 

She came to Douglas in 1976 and was the manager at the Village Inn and later at the Douglas Moose Lodge.  Patty moved to Lander, Wyoming in the early 2000’s and worked at the Lander Valley Hospital as an admission clerk.  She was married to Donald Floyd Detimore on April 15, 2002 in Atlantic City, Wyoming.

She was an avid Relay for Life participant for years.  Later in her life her passions were first and foremost her grandchildren.  She adored them all.  Patty enjoyed camping trips in the mountains with her family and friends.  Patty and Don loved going on side-by-side rides with sister and brother-in-law in and around Red Canyon and Atlantic city Areas.

Patty is survived by her husband, Don Detimore, of Lander; children, Donavan Detimore of Riverton, Wyoming, Lindsey K. Gee of Corpus Christi, Texas, Michael Drake of Pinedale, Wyoming, Amanda Drake Wood of Riverton, Stephen Pilarczyk of Douglas, and Mathew Branson of Vail, Colorado; siblings, Joann (Dave) Yates of Douglas, Jackie (Peter) Camino of Buffalo, Wyoming Donna Hastings of Fort Mohave, Arizona, Ervin (Dianne) Watkins of Buffalo and Vickie (Monte) Stringham of La Verkin, Utah; eighteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, John, March 9, 2013; mother, Tillie, on March 10, 1997; son, Alan Branson; and brother, Jeff Watkins, on August 19, 1996.
