RAYMOND & CINDY PITTSLEY Obituary
Husband and wife, Raymond Earl Pittsley, 72, and Cindy Lou Pittsley, 68, of Glenrock went to be with the Lord one week apart on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 and Saturday, September 4, 2021. Ray and Cindy were high school sweethearts who married and settled in Dubois, Wyoming to raise their family. Raymond was an avid horseback rider, hunter and owned his own logging company, while Cindy worked for the local sawmill. The couple moved to Glenrock in 1992, where they have lived since. Cindy owned and operated the local flower shop since 1998, while Raymond continued logging and operating a small engine repair shop. Cindy was known be very active in community events.
They are survived by their children, Alan Pittsley, Christina and Brian Brock, Michelle Roswell, Jennifer and Binky Fisher, Jeramy and Amy Pittsley, and Betty and Travis Justus. Raymond and Cindy loved and cherished each of their 33 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and in fact raised their great grandson Cristian as their own.
Raymond and Cindy never liked to be apart here on earth. They instilled a deep sense of the importance of family to their children. They will be loved and missed forever by the family they leave behind, but we take solace in the fact that they will be together for eternity in heaven.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Raymond and Cindy on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Glenrock Town Park in Glenrock, Wyoming with Pastor Rick Bishop of the Glenrock Community Baptist Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Cindy and Raymond Pittsley Memorial Fund, for Cristian and Yovanni’s college fund, in care of Jennifer Fisher, 844 Richards Street, Thermopolis, Wyoming 82443 would be appreciated by the family.
