RICHARD FRANCIS FAHEY

A funeral Liturgy for Richard Francis Fahey Jr., 76, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wheatland, Wyoming with Father Hiep Nguyen as the Celebrant.

Richard Fahey passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at his home in Wheatland.

Richard was born on Sunday, May 9, 1948 in Brockton, Massachusetts the son of Richard Francis and Amelia (Prosper) Fahey Sr.

Richard is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where he earned his degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.

He worked over 40 years as a senior electrical engineer for companies like Petro Logistics, Brown and Root Braun, Basin Electric, EYP Mission Critical Fox, and Pac Bell.  His work included nuclear and fossil power generation, refineries, offshore oil platforms, semisubmersible drilling rigs, and chemical plants.

In his spare time, he loved sports, 5K’s, 10K’s, biathlons, marathons, water skiing, snow skiing, boating, and golf.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Charlene Rice Fahey, and sisters, Denise Pearson and MaryEllen Liberman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Fahey Sr., mother, Amelia Fahey; two brothers, Danny and Peter Fahey all of Massachusetts.

A memorial to the Right to Life would be appreciated by the family.
