ROBERT L. HIGGINS

Robert L. “Bob” Higgins, 81, passed away surrounded by friends and family on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Bob was born on Sunday, February 2, 1941 to Robert P. and Ruby (House) Higgins in Denver, Colorado. He went to school in Whitman, Nebraska and enlisted in the United States Army on June 29, 1960. He was honorably discharged on June 14, 1962. He met Phyllis Duran and they were wed on December 29, 1977.
Bob Worked for BNSF railroad as a yardmaster for years. He retired and was a school bus driver for the Platte County School District for a short time. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and NASCAR racing. He was a kid at heart and loved practical jokes.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Higgins; his brothers, Cliff Higgins and Henry Russell; his daughters, Marilyn, Susan, and Leilani; and countless nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
There will not be any services for Bob per his wishes.
