ROBERT THOMAS "BOB" HILL

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Robert Thomas “Bob” Hill, 93,  at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Glenrock Community Baptist Church in Glenrock, Wyoming with Pastor Rick Bishop officiating.  Inurnment will be in the Glenrock Cemetery with the Glenrock Masonic Lodge #22 AF & AM conducting graveside rites.

Bob Hill died Friday, January 25, 2019 at South Hill Village in Spokane, Washington.

Bob was born in Wheatland, Wyoming on Saturday, April 25, 1925 to William Moore and Ida Blanch (Parker) Hill and had six siblings.

After graduating from Fort Laramie High School in 1943 he served in the United States Navy.

He married Irma Faye Coy in Torrington, Wyoming on February 21, 1947, and they had five children.  They lived in various locations in Wyoming, where Bob worked as a mechanic, including Wheatland, Greybull, Cheyenne, Casper, and Glenrock, Sheridan and were also in Fairbanks, Alaska for a few years.

He is survived by his brother, William Hill of Torrington; his daughter, Donna Lythgoe of Cheney, Washington, and his sons, David Hill of Centennial, Colorado and Jim Hill of Surprise, Arizona.   In addition, four grandchildren, Gina Schmidt, Saxon Hill, Joni MacNeill, and Stacey Lythgoe and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Irma, on July 8,2013; his sons, Michael A. Hill, on July 5, 2008 and Thomas E. Hill, on May 16, 2004; and his siblings, Edith, Ruth, Mary, Frank, and John.
