ROMAN ANTHONY MOSS

Funeral services for Roman Anthony Moss, 47, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Douglas Assembly of God Church in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Brian Rossignol officiating.  Interment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Roman passed away at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from Covid-19.

Roman was born Tuesday, February 5, 1974 to Anita Moss and was adopted and loved by Donald Lewis and Linda Fay (Sturgeon) Moss.

Roman was employed at Solutions for Life at the time of his death and was once a gas station manager at the former C-Plus Station here in Douglas.

Roman enjoyed spending time and visiting with his many friends, sisters, and brothers.  He was known for his sense of humor and one-of-a-kind personality.

Roman is survived by his dad, Donald Moss; biological mother, Anita Moss Carrier; uncles and aunts, Leonard Moss Sr., Susanna Oldman, Rosella Moss, Frances Heidenberger, Nelson and Emma Moss, Ursula (Robert ) Aragon, Maxine Moss, Norman and Neva Smith, Chuck and Ethel Smith, Rodney and Teresa Sturgeon, and Steve and Stacey Sturgeon; brothers, Norcees (Sonny) Carrier Jr., Winston Jorgenson, Kenneth (Budda) Jorgenson, Preston Jorgenson, Edgar Jorgenson, Santee Moss, Jesse Blackbird, Medrick Moss Jr., Micheal Moss, Gary T. Moss, Leonard Moss Jr., Darrell Moss, Weldon Dale Moss, Cletus Moss, and Ron Moss; sisters, Murial Moss, Alma Piper, Pauline Moss, Madonna (Curtis) Kienlen, Raphaelita (Perci) Carrier, Charity Carrier, Jamie Moss, Tracy (George) Abeyta, Jenny Moss, Denise Moss, Paula Moss, Elmereta Blackbird, Jeanette (Greg) Roanhorse, Rozeanne Jorgenson, Charla Moss, Cheryl (Philip) Oldman, Laurencine Wheeler, Haroldine Moss, Rebecca Moss, Eliza Moss, Aleta Moss, Aldene (Marty) Underwood, Avalene (Mylan) Glenmore, Sandy (Pat) Ironcloud, Debbie Moss, Rickina (Bill) Armour, and Marva Moss; and his nieces and nephews who he called his babies, Emilyn C’Hair, Allen Dale Moss, Isaiah C’Hair, Dakotah C’Hair, Wyoma Littleshield, Anita Littleshield, Benjamin St. Clair, Ezra Anthony Kienlen, Richard Walks, Tasha Walks, Ashley Walks, Chrislyn Moss, Aleecia Moss, and Ivy Arthur.  Special friends he took as family, Lupe Blackburn, Stephanie Culpepper, Makenzie Washington, and Stephany Gibson; and numerous friends and family from Oklahoma, Montana, and California.

Roman was preceded in death by his mom, Linda Moss; grandparents, Hermon Joseph Moss, Rosie B. Moss, Eileen Moss, Paul Moss Sr., Wyoma B. Moss, Dr. Pius F. Moss and wife, Mary, Jesse and Arlene Sturgeon; numerous uncles and aunts; brothers, Weldon Moss, David Moss, Kendall Joe Moss, James Jorgenson, Duane Moss, Rodney Jorgenson; and sisters, LCpl Amanda Carrier, Mary Blackbird, Dawn Wheeler, Deanna Moss, Michelle Moss, and Doreen Moss.

An all-night wake will be held at the Douglas Assembly of God Church starting at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 and going until the start of the funeral service.
