SANDRA "SANDY" (STURDIVANT) OLSON

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sandy Olson, 63, at 11 A.M. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the VFW in Guernsey, Wyoming. 

Sandra “Sandy” Sturdivant Olson, 63, of Guernsey, left this earth on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. 

Sandy was born Friday, October 24, 1958 in San Francisco, California to Arden and Katherine Sturdivant.  She grew up in the Hartville-Guernsey area with her siblings and many friends.  

Although Sandy moved to and worked in other locations in her life, she always seemed to come home to Guernsey as her permanent residence. 

Sandy loved laughter, was very quick-witted and great at telling jokes and stories.  These qualities were a great asset when waitressing and bartending.  Through the years, she worked at Ben’s, Kelley’s and Tony’s, all in Guernsey.  

Sandy was a great mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She was a very caring person, loved by many and will be greatly missed. 

Sandy is survived by sons, Travis (Shoni) Despain, Trevon Sturdivant (Felicia), Dennis Olson (Kaelyn), and Chris Olson (Emelina), and daughter Tomi Olson; brothers, Dennis (Esther) Sturdivant and Walter (Melodie) Sturdivant; seven grandchildren and an additional due this year; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Debbie.
