SARA M (HARRIS) STEARNS

Sara Marie Harris, 45, was born on Monday, February 25, 1980 in Wheatland, Wyoming, the daughter of Steven J. and Debra J. (Hite) Harris. She passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in Cheyenne, Wyoming at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

She was a graduate of Wheatland High School, class of 1998.

Sara worked at the Cheyenne Women’s Clinic for 18 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to country music and crocheting.

She is survived by her two sons, Cash Stearns of Cheyenne and Cody Stearns of Chugwater, Wyoming; her parents, Steve and Debbie Harris of Chugwater; and brother, Ryan Harris of Chugwater.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nettie and Harold Harris of Chugwater and James and Eunice Hite of Wheatland.

A graveside service will be held at Wheatland Cemetery on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 with Pastor Casey Schroeder officiating. The procession will start at Gorman’s Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cash Stearns, Cody Stearns, Steve Harris, Akria Daves, Ron Betts, and Keyth Lisenbee.

To the doctors and staff: We are so appreciative of your generosity. Thank you for caring so much about Sara and our family. It made a world of difference and your support has helped us through this difficult time. Sara spoke so highly of all of you and she was very grateful to work with such a great group of people.
