Scott Lee Craigie, 70, passed away at his home in Glendo, Wyoming with his loving family at his bedside on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Per Scott’s request no funeral service will be held.
Scott was born Monday, May 31, 1954 in Laramie, Wyoming the son of Norman William and Marguerite Mae (Hooker) Craigie. He was raised and educated in Laramie. He attended the Laramie High School until entering the United States Navy on August 31, 1971 in Cheyenne, Wyoming serving during Vietnam. Scott was honorably discharged in Long Beach, California on September 6, 1974.
Following his discharge, he returned to Laramie and worked at the saw mill for several years. He moved to Cheyenne and worked for #1 Properties, and then worked at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Hospital in the plant as an engineer. He retired after 27 years in 2019.
He was married to Terry Ann (Norton) Craigie on August 1, 1991 in Laramie. In 2019 following his retirement they moved to Glendo to enjoy his favorite pastime, fishing. He also enjoyed golfing. Scott and Terry spent the winter months in Arizona.
Scott is survived by his wife, Terry, of Glendo; stepson, Lynn Harding of Yampa, Colorado; siblings, Karen Alene Dowis of Glendo and William “Butch” (Terri Lee) Craigie of Wheatland, Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Kathy Craigie.
