Funeral services for Terry Kay Voiles, 70, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Brian Rossignol of the Douglas Assembly of God Church officiating. Inurnment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Terry passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home in Douglas, Wyoming from an extended illness with her loving husband at her side.
She was born Thursday, July 2, 1953 in Wheatland, Wyoming the daughter of Charles Ray “Chuck” and Wanda Joyce (White) Hegglund. Terry was reared and educated in Douglas. She owned and operated the Curly Cue Beauty Salon in Douglas.
Terry was known as a Prayer Warrior. She was a member of the Agape Prayer Group and Douglas Assembly of God Church. Terry prayer walked the entire town of Douglas touching every mailbox and she was a hospice volunteer.
Terry was married to Joseph E. Voiles on January 19, 1980 in Douglas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Joe, of Douglas; son, Travis (Ruth) Middleton of Douglas; brothers, Charlie (Terry) Hegglund and Eddy (Val) Hegglund both of Douglas; and four grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by her father, Chuck, on June 29, 1991; mother, Wanda, on April 1, 2006; son, Thomas “Tommy” Middleton, on December 29, 2022; and brother, Scott Hegglund, on February 25, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Central Wyoming Hospice Home, 319 South Wilson Street, Casper, Wyoming 82601 would be appreciated by the family.
Serving as urnbearerer will be Travis Middleton.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Hegglund, Eddie Hegglund, Fred Voiles, Bill Voiles, Amber Dickau, Desi Laird, and Michelle Zufall.
