Funeral services for Tom Nunn, 78, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming with Pastor Matt Fox of Unity Christian Fellowship officiating. Interment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery with military honor accorded by the Samuel Mares American Legion Post #8 and Wyoming Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home
Tom Nunn, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed peacefully into Heaven on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyoming.
He was born Friday, April 25, 1947 in Douglas the son of Clarence Arthur and Bertie Lee (Power) Nunn. He grew up in Douglas and carried a deep love for his hometown throughout his life.
Tom was an honest, hardworking man who always put his family first. He formed close bonds everywhere he went and treasured many lifelong friendships-so many of his friends became like family to him. His love of country led him to proudly serve in the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife and soulmate of 25 years, Kathy. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob (Margaret) Nunn and Bill (Sandy) Nunn; and by his children and grandchildren, Nicky and Jake Engel and their children, Arianna, Harley, and Isabell, Jennifer and Josh Dees, and their children, Ben and Karlynn, Shane Nunn, and his daughters, Maddie and Kalisa, and Michelle and James Duran, and their children, Austin, Ely, and Josie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, on October 10, 1987; mother, Bertie, on July 8, 1996; as well as his half-brothers and half-sisters, Jennie, Willie Lee, Henry, and Truie; and best friend, Ray Ramirez, on August 27, 2023.
Tom lived his life with strength, loyalty, and a heart full of love. Though we will miss him deeply, we carry comfort in knowing that the values he lived continue in each of us.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jerimy Johnson, Jim Sullivan, Tommy Ramirez, Eric Ramirez, Shane Nunn, and Shane Connolly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306 would be appreciated by the family.
