A funeral service for Virgil G. Laubach, 94, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma with Pastor David Lawrence presiding. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene, Oklahoma.
Virgil died Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming.
Virgil was born Saturday, April 4, 1925 to Herb and Hannah (Gerb) Laubach in Okeene. He married Jane Blunk on April 7, 1946 in Enid, Oklahoma. He worked as the Parts Department Manager for John Deere Dealerships in Garber, Oklahoma, Weatherford, and Torrington, Wyoming before retiring to Enid in 1992.
He is survived by his son, Monte (Vicki) Laubach of Portland, Oregon; daughter, Teri (David) Hinman of Wheatland; daughter-in-law Pam Laubach of Weatherford; grandchildren, Kristin (Roy) Olaveson of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Kellie Hinman of Wheatland, Anna (Dan) Hinman of Mitchell, Nebraska, Cory (Brittany) Sauer of Valdosta, Georgia, Amber (Ryan) Bell of Weatherford; great grandchildren Nolan, Conner, Hannah, Kinley, Barrett, Kara, Coby, and Evan; sisters, Norita Curtin and Nadine Benham; brother, Harold Laubach; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane; son, Mark; two sisters, Norma Hill and Neoma VanZant; and two brothers, Eugene Laubach and Don Wahl.
