VIRGINIA BEDNASEK Obituary
Virginia Mae Bednasek, 99, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland, Wyoming.
Virginia was born on Saturday, September 2, 1922, in Clearwater, Kansas, the daughter of Otto and Mabel Grant. She had three brothers, John, Don, and Keith.
She lived in Denver, Colorado for the majority of her adult life with her husband, Charles and her children. She was employed by various businesses as a receptionist, bookkeeper, and payroll manager. She was an avid traveler and saw much of the world on her adventures. She retired at the age of 75 and moved to Wheatland due to health issues in 2007. She resided at the Country Club Assisted Living and then the Legacy Home.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and Otto; husband, Charles; three brothers, John, Keith, and Don; her daughter, Susan; and grandson, Drew.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth; son, Scott, and his wife, Susan; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
