WENDY GAIL VORE

Wendy G. Vore, 69, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2023 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming. Per her request, no services will be held.

Wendy was born on Tuesday, February 9, 1954 in Greeley Colorado to Bob Laney and Lavonne (Laney) McConnell. She was raised in Shoshoni, Wyoming. She was married to Keith Ayers, the father of her sons, and later to Jeff Vore, the love of her life.

Wendy worked as a cook, waitress, and bartender at various locations throughout her life. She loved gardening, doing arts and crafts, and cooking. She had a big caring and giving heart and loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her two children, Brian Ayers and Trent Ayers; daughter-in-law, Torie Ayers; sister, Terri Nave; and grandson, Clay Ayers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Vore on August 26, 2009; mother, Lavonne (Laney) McConnell on January 28, 2009; father, Bob Laney on September 30, 1979; and her step-father, Ed McConnell on April 7, 2002.
