Funeral services for Ted Siers aka The Terminator, 50, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Upper Ag Building at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas, Wyoming with Father Bill Hill of the Saint James Catholic Church in Douglas.  Interment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Ted Siers died Monday, July 3, 2017 at his home near Douglas surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Ted was born Thursday, March 2, 1967 in Saint James, Minnesota the son of William Leroy and Katherine R. (Theuer) Siers.  He was raised and educated in Douglas and graduated from the Douglas High School in 1985.  Following graduation he worked the pipeline as a welder with his father.  He worked for Progress Rail as a car man two car inspector for fifteen years.  He went to work for Black Thunder Coal Mine and because of medical reasons he retired in 2016.
He was married to Dee Cooper in Douglas on May 19, 2007.
Ted enjoyed racing cars, car shows, Chevy muscle cars, micro beers, and hunting.  He was active in the hockey and baseball programs with his children.  Ted spent a lot of time at his daughter’s hair salon and the shooting range with his son.  Ted’s most enjoyable times were with his granddaughter, family, and friends.
Ted was a member of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).
Ted is survived by his wife, Dee Siers; children, Desiree Wisecup and Hnter Siers; granddaughter, McKenzie Morrow, all of  Douglas; and sister, Shelly (John) Julum of Seattle, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his father, William, on April 16, 1996; mother, Katherine, on June 16, 2009; and uncle and aunt, Karl and Dorothy Theuer.
Serving as pallbearers will be Raoul Deluna, Shawn VonWald, Troy Schell, Martin Ortega, Joe Gallegos, and Richard Moe.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jim Edwards and Scott Luckenbihl.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 11 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
